Meet our Chief Executive Officer

Victoria Graeve-Cunningham

Chief Executive Officer

Although she was born in California, Vicki grew up in Plattsmouth, NE. Vicki probably would have been much cooler if she returned to southern California, but she decided to stay in Omaha after high school. Not only did she receive her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, but she met her husband, Mitch. These happy memories are why after receiving her MBA from Creighton University, she returned to UNO to pursue her doctoral degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.

Currently, Vicki works with UNO in various capacities and consults as an I-O Psychologist/HR Professional for a variety of organizations across the Omaha-Metro area. Her prior work experience includes directing health promotion research at both UNMC and Creighton University, facilitating strategic planning for nonprofit organizations, conducting benchmark and feasibility analyses for organizational restructuring along with managing various projects and programs related to organizational efficiency, change management, process development, LEAN integration, and volunteer management.

In her role as the Assistant Director at UNO’s Volunteer Program Assessment Center, she realized that nonprofit organizations have a lot of pressure to reduce costs and become sustainable. Hence, she connected with a group of very intelligent individuals with a wealth of knowledge to establish the ThriVinci Consulting Group, which is a nonprofit organization committed to making communities a better place by offering nonprofits and charitable institutions organizational effectiveness consultants at free or reduced rates.

She spends what little “leisure” time she has advising for Sigma Kappa sorority at her alma mater, volunteering as a Greater Omaha Young Professional Council Member or being active in the Omaha community via her participation in the Omaha Junior League and other nonprofit organizations and professional networking groups. Vicki takes advantage of her free time enjoying various community offerings or staying in with family and friends – while home, she will probably be giving most of her attention to her four-legged pals, Kasey and Nipsey (and possibly some of her foster pups from the Midwest Dog Rescue Network).

Connect with Victoria Graeve-Cunningham if you are interested in chatting about great opportunities that Omaha has to offer or nerding out by discussing employee development, change management, volunteer engagement or statistics and analytics.
